Information Technology Engineering Manager
Led IT, websites, software development and data engineering as a one-person technical team. Managed the Hedgeweek and Private Equity Wire WordPress platforms, each with around 150,000 monthly visits, across AWS and Cloudflare. Improved server stability and defenses against abusive traffic, built Python and AWS marketing automations, expanded product engagement tracking, and introduced a shared Confluence knowledge base.
August 2022 to December 2023
IT & Software Engineer
Built a news aggregation tool with TF-IDF filtering, data pipelines and Power BI dashboards, and a Django portal supported by AWS Lambda services. Also improved contact segmentation and provided day-to-day IT support.
